A photo render of Thomas Benedikt’s LEGO Super Star Destroyer, weighing in at 90,000 pieces - a whopping 12.5 feet! The designer spent 1200 hours designing the ship.

LDD 4.3 now has a piece limit of 41300, so I STILL had to construct the ship in two halves. I then combined the two in MLCAD. LeoCad and SR3D Builder both crash if I attempt to open the complete ship.
I can’t stress to you enough the pain and frustration this endeavor has caused me. It’s not just placing virtual bricks on a program. It’s constantly going BACK AND FORTH, BACK AND FORTH between pictures and screen making sure every detail is right. And then realizing: “oops, this 4000 piece section is too wide. Better take the next two weeks to fix it.” Grrr. I’m not doing this ever again! (source)

He’s currently running a Kickstarter to raise funds to actually build the thing if you’re interested in donating. If not, check the other renders out anyway - this was an amazing undertaking! (via The Brothers Brick)

Hi everyone. I just want to pass on this very important Doctor Who information. There is a DW fan film series being made in Cleveland Ohio by a group of independent filmmakers.

They have already shot the first episode/trailer which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY2NJGkAzXk

Check it out & support them and if you can, donate to their indegogo to help them finish their amazing work: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/t-r-a-c-e-a-doctor-who-fan-film-webisode-series-1

Even if you can’t donate, please reblog to let everyone know about this. You can tell from the trailer that is will be very high action, lots of martial arts fighting and it is very professional with lots of great special effects

If they get enough money they will be adding a weeping angel!

Here’s the round-up on the project that qualified for the second 2014 LEGO review:

Assault on Wayne Manor | X-Mansion
Ghostbusters HQ | Hubble Space Telescope
UCS AT-AT | Lightsaber Hilts: Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker
Invisible Hand | WALL-E

We’re still waiting on the result for the first 2014 review, which will hopefully be announced this month.

Here are some leaked photos of the new Lego UCS Slave I. I’m not sure of the release date, but I’m guessing it’ll be at the end of this year or aligned with Star Wars Episode 7. Have fun with these pictures!

If you defend a guy for his nudes getting leaked (“aw it’s okay we still love you1!1!1!!!”) but then shame a girl for her nudes getting leaked (“what a slut she shouldn’t have taken them in the first place!!1!1!!!”) I hope you step on many lego pieces at once.

Oddly, this is why some politicians have lost their positions.

Thank you for using proper English and not making “Lego” a plural. The point you made is correct too. Points!

Probably my greatest joy in life comes from Acker & Blacker’s Beyond Belief. I showed my amorous adoration previously on this tumblah with the fanart I did last summer (which, waggles eyebrows, might actually become a print featured at their shows) but my latest labor of nerd love has been to legofy my favoritest of sousy supernatural sleuths. I’m probably a little TOO proud of this considering I’m a 32 year old adult male, but as Will Ferrell said, that age 14 label on the Lego box is just a suggestion. Now, who the devil at Lego do I need to petition to get a penthouse playset build for these two and their friends and foes?
